Held on September 9, 2017 in Las Vegas, the Bite of Las Vegas event was one not to be missed. The one-day festival event, which is held annually, is one of the most popular displays of local food, and one of the best music festivals, in the area, featuring more than 50 of the area’s top eateries.

Who Came to Bite of Las Vegas This Year?
This year’s musical lineup was a special treat, with bands like Neon Trees, LeAnn Rimes, Eve 6, Shawn Hook, and Vertical Horizon all performing. There was also a long list of participating restaurants, including some local favorites like Ben’s BBQ, Ben and Jerry’s, Texas Twister, Amore Taste of Chicago, and dozens more. Many of these food establishments were voted 2017 Best Bite Winners, highlighting the fact that they provided some of the tastiest “bites” of food to be found. Best Beverage went to Texas Twisted Drink, Best Pork Bite to Cuban Goodies, and Most Creative Bite to Sweet Spot. Fun Activities for All
In addition to plenty of food, drink, and musical entertainment, there were also a number of fun activities for people of all ages. This included amusement rides and a bounce house for little ones, live cooking demonstrations, Polynesian dancing, and apparently Fright Dome zombies! One of the great things about this event is that while it is big, it’s not huge, so your feet don’t hate you at the end of the day. Another thing that Las Vegas community members love is that it is interactive, and perfect for adults and children of all ages.

What to Expect Next Year
While the specific date for the 2018 Bite of Las Vegas Event has yet to be set, you can expect it to take place in September, and likely at the same location (Desert Breeze Park), although this is not confirmed. Bands and restaurants that will attend the 2018 festival have yet to be announced – it’s going to be hard to top this year!
